Quick Start Guide
Four steps to get Rubric working for you. Total time: about five minutes.
1. Complete Onboarding
Open the app, sign in, and work through the 12-step setup. Enter your body metrics, select your goals, flag your allergies, and grant Apple Health permissions. This takes about five minutes and configures everything the system needs to score your day.

2. Log Your First Meal
Go to the Scribe tab and log what you ate. You have three options:
- Type it. “Two eggs, toast with butter, black coffee.”
- Say it. Tap the microphone and speak naturally.
- Snap it. Take a photo of your plate.
The system estimates the nutritional breakdown. Adjust the dials if the estimate is off, then commit the entry.

3. Check Your Dashboard Tonight
If Apple Health data is flowing (sleep from last night, steps from today) and you logged at least one meal, your first Daily Rubric Score will appear on the Dashboard. The score ranges from 3 to 99.

4. Ask the Coach a Question
Open the Coach tab and try:
- “How am I doing today?”
- “What should I eat for dinner?”
- “Am I getting enough protein?”
The Coach has access to your health data, your targets, and your dietary preferences. It gives direct, specific answers.
That’s it. The system learns more about you every day. Log consistently, and the data does the rest.
