——— A NOTE FROM THE KITCHEN ———

I love to cook. I love to eat. I do not love logging.

For years, "tracking" meant scrolling through a database with 15 million items trying to decide which avocado most accurately represented the one I sliced onto my tacos. The apps were noisy. The advice felt canned. The motivation sounded like it was written for someone else.

It never felt like a serious conversation.

A few months ago, a friend suggested something simple: keep clean health data in a spreadsheet and ask AI better questions. No gamification. No streaks. No cheerleading. Just real numbers and thoughtful analysis.

I was hooked.

For the first time, I could have intelligent, grounded conversations about sleep, nutrition, and activity. I could ask nuanced questions. I could challenge assumptions. I could see patterns emerge. It felt less like "dieting" and more like running an experiment on myself.

Rubric grew out of that experience.

It's not a calorie counter. It's not a hype machine. It's a clean record and a coach that takes your data seriously. Think of it as your official record — something you can trust, interrogate, and build on.

Rubric won't be for everyone. It's for people who want clarity over cheerleading. Precision over points. Conversation over content.

If that sounds like you, you're invited.

It's free during pre-launch. I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.
