Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Rubric’s Terms of Service govern your use of the app. This article summarizes the key points in plain language — the full legal document is what applies.
The complete Terms of Service are available at rubric.fit/legal/terms.
Key Terms, Summarized
- Not medical advice. Rubric provides coaching and tracking tools. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. AI-generated content — nutrition estimates, coaching responses, scoring — is advisory. You are responsible for your own health decisions.
- You own your data. You can export or delete it at any time.
- Updates happen. Rubric may update the Terms of Service. When changes are material — affecting your rights, data handling, or payment terms — the app will present the updated terms and ask you to re-accept before continuing. You have the option to accept, defer once, or decline (which signs you out).
- Minor changes are silent. Typos, formatting, and non-substantive clarifications are applied without prompting. Only changes that affect your rights or obligations trigger the re-acceptance flow.
What this means for you: You will not be asked to re-accept terms for every small edit. When you do see the acceptance prompt, it means something substantive has changed — read it.
